This Gurukula style veda patasala was inaugurated by the holy hands of His Holiness Jagadguru Sankaracharya of Sringeri Sri.Sri.Sri. Bharathi Teertha Maha Swamigal on 25-Jun-2017. It is the first ever established Gurukula Vedapatasala in the history of Northern Kerala imparting Vedic Knowledge in Krishna Yejurveda.
The TBS SBVCC TRUST, KOZHIKODE – Tali Brahmana Samooham Sri Vidya Bharathi Veda Patasala & Cultural Centre Trust, Kozhikode was registered in 2018 (Regn.No.171/2018 under Trust Act).
The Tali Brahmana Samooham has provided two buildings (free of cost). These buildings are used to run the Vedapatasla in run a Gurukula Pattern, with space for cook/caretaker quarters and a vedic library. There are 10 students under the able guidance of a Ghanapadikal & an assistant Karampad. the Teacher’s quarter is an adjacent rented house.
An aspirational goal is to construct a new building for accommodating the Vedapatasala, Bhajana Mandapam and an Annadhana Mandapam.
TBSSBVCC Trust wishes to purchase new land and establish own building and other infrastructural facilities to accommodate a residential Sanskrit & Vedic School which can occupy around 200-300 students, particularly from economically weaker sections of the society and also enable a research institute for a detailed and in-depth study for the scholars from all over the world under the able and proper guidance by eminent personalities who had done years of studies and also following various vedic rituals in their life. Though this institution shall be established in Kozhikode, Kerala, it is meant for the students from all over the world with a focus for Indian Students and seekers for advanced Sanskrit & Vedic studies.

TBS SBVCC TRUST, Kozhikode is a Registered Charitable Trust under Indian Trust Act, 1882 and having Income Tax Exemption for donors under Sec.80 G of IT Act.
All donations to TBSSBVCC Trust, Chalappuram Post, Tali, Kozhikode-673002, PAN No.AADTT3966F, are exempted U/s 80G(5)(vi) of IT Act, 1961 as per Order No.ITBA/EXM/S/80G/2020-21/1027078564(1), Dated 12/05/2020, W.e.f 01/04/2019
TBS SBVCC Trust has been registered for undertaking CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities and the Registration number is CSR00008135.
